Special Needs Provision at Wood End Park Academy
Here is an exciting project that is currently on site with works progressing, it includes refurbishment and improvements at a school to create new special needs provision. So far, internal strip out and demolition is complete, roof repairs, external cladding and drainage works has begun and we are arranging window replacement works. Here are some pictures from site at the moment, we can’t wait to see how the project will progress!

Project Value: Circa. £1.5 million
Extent of Works:
- Complete internal strip out
- Internal demolition of internal partitions
- Structural repairs and treatment of existing structure
- Existing external walls to be upgraded with external wall insulation and brick slip cladding system
- Replacement of external windows and doors to commercial quality double glazed aluminium system
- All new M&E services, distribution, fixtures and fittings throughout
- New above and below ground foul drainage, connecting into existing drainage system
- New internal partitions to form new layout
- New staff and pupil toilets including hygiene room and medical room
- New layout to provide 3 main classrooms, group rooms, store rooms, entrance lobby and office, gym/soft play room, calming room and sensory room
- New external low level fencing to include some of existing playground. Area resurfaced with outdoor coloured carpet and some fixed outdoor equipment. Associated surface water drainage work
